With the soon to be released Scarface video game on the horizon, it’s only fitting that the gansta’ legend gets immortalized even futher (if that’s possible) in the form of a comic book. 1080p just in time for the release of the HD-DVD drive! Here’s the lo’ lo’ on the Xbox 360 goodness via Engadget!
A software update this year will enable 1080p output on the friggin’ Xbox 360! Your rig will finally benefit by pushing the full 60 megapixels per second of visuals to your compatible HDTV. Sorry, no HDMI cable yet (or ever?), though, this is only over component and VGA. Users can expect 1080p upscaling immediately on current games and DVDs and native 1080p on compatible HD DVD titles, but Microsoft hasn’t yet announced future games that will rock 1080p natively.

2006 is the year of Star Trek’s 40th anniversary. What a huge milestone! To set this year apart from the rest, and also to ensure longevity of the franchise, Star Trek: The Original Series is set for a remastered release. What will this remastered version include? Well, first off, thier will be a CG version of the Enterprise, along with new special effects for certain scenes. The remastering will undoubtedly include scratch and dust cleanup, which also will be upconverted to high definition. This will bring a huge improvement to the whole TOS experience. Can’t wait!
